Cookies in Kyuquot

I ended today at the post office in Kyuquot, where a couple of friends from Orcas had sent me a package. I opened it to find two wonderful treats. First, some dried kale chips from the garden in order to add veggies to my dinners. Also... chocolate chip cookies!! I have already had too many... I just need to figure out how to put them in the boat and take with me from here!

I unexpectedly have internet access tonight, so I thought I would post a few photos from the past couple days of traveling. Not much to report... fair weather during the days, though I did get snowed on last night for the first time on the trip. (I’m sure it won’t be the last).

Tomorrow I will head over to the Brooks Peninsula, where it will be time for sitting and waiting for the right weather to head around. Good things I have plenty of cookies to hold me over.
