I arrived at Hot Springs Cove early in the afternoon on Tuesday, just as the wind was picking up. A few hours later a 70-foot fishing trawler pulled in at the dock. That certainly said something about the incoming weather!
If these guys needed shelter...
Since then it has been an incredible two days watching a massive storm roll in on the coast. Luckily for me I am safe and sound in this sheltered place. It will most likely be at least a couple more days before I can paddle onwards. I did, however, take some time to make a video of the waves rolling in.
